Includes: Autonomous machinery, Alternative Fuel/renewable solutions, Smart sensors for livestock, Robotic milking/livestock equipment, Precision tech, Artificial intelligence and robotics & Drones. The product must be able to demonstrate its benefit to the environment.
Arable Establishment Innovation of the Year
A piece of arable kit, machinery, chemical or technology that provides advancement or innovation to the establishment of arable crops, at any point during their production lifecycle.
Arable Crop Care Innovation of the Year
A piece of arable kit, machinery, chemical or technology that provides advancement or innovation to the care of arable crops, at any point during their production lifecycle.
Digital Technology Innovation of the Year
A product or service that uses digital technology and equipment to provide a strong service to farmers. Must be innovative and fill a genuine need farmers and growers have. Includes: Apps, Electronics & GPS Software.
Livestock Innovation of the Year
A piece of livestock kit, machinery or technology that provides advancement or innovation inside the Livestock sector. Includes: Livestock feeding and handling equipment, Milling equipment, Mixing equipment & Fencing equipment.
Dairy Innovation of the Year
A piece of dairy kit, machinery or technology that provides advancement or innovation inside the Dairy sector. Includes: Cattle feeding and handling equipment, Dairy machinery, Milling equipment, Mixing equipment & Fencing equipment.
Grassland Innovation of the Year
A piece of grassland kit, machinery or technology that provides advancement or innovation inside the grassland/forage sector. Includes: Tractors, Field machinery, Handling equipment or any technology that is specific to the lifecycle of grass production.
British & Irish Manufacturer of the Year
To champion the commitment to innovation by a British or Irish Manufacturer. The manufacturer must have released an innovative product for any purpose within agriculture since February 2020 (no more than five years before LAMMA 2025). The manufacturer must be based within UK and Ireland, and physical production must also take place within the UK and Ireland.
Looking for manufacturers who can provide evidence of consistent innovation and progression in the following areas: New products, product development, business development, business sustainability, importing/exporting, championing rural employment, and providing opportunities for young people.
Machine of the Year
To celebrate innovation with agricultural manufacturing.
The machine can be made anywhere in the world, but it must be sold in the UK & Ireland, and released after 1st February 2024.
Includes: Tractors, Materials Handling, Harvesters, Crop Protection, Crop Establishment Machinery.
